Scope and Contents The Eugene F. Karst Collection contains a variety of articles, newspapers, pamphlets, publications, correspondence, posters, and travel items related to Mr. Karst's work for the U. S. State Department in Central and Latin America. Much of the material in the collection is from Karst's time as a press attache and information officer in Argentina (1950-1952), El Salvador (1955), Brazil (1960-1962), and Paraguay (1968).
